Available Pugs
We are very good at finding Pugs a forever home. The average time a Pug spends between relinquishment and his/her new home is a day or two. We update our available list on a regular basis as Pugs come in to our care and go into their new forever homes. The list below is not necessarily complete. We occasionally have available Pugs in Foster Care, but with no photos to display here. The Pugs listed below are currently in foster care and available. Remember, we ALWAYS have Pugs coming in. Please contact us at pugsandiego@yahoo.com if you would like information on them.

Please go to our Adoptions page to find out how to begin the process of adoption. Any questions, please email us at pugsandiego@yahoo.com.
WE NEED FOREVER HOMES!!! Please read our stories below.
If you would like to adopt one of us, please email (pugsandiego@yahoo.com) or call Pug Rescue (619 685 3580).
gallery Meet Joey. He has been cared for by loving foster family and is gaining weight and is ready for his forever home. He is 10 years old and lots of fun. Joey needs a family who will continue with routine training to help him become a good household citizen. If you have the love and time to work with this wonderful boy please contact us.
gallery Meet Luli. Here is a precious little female. She is about 5 years old and has spent some time in a hi-kill shelter. She was brought to our attention and was transported to us by one of our volunteers who just fell in love with her but is not able to keep her. She is housebroken and very playful. Luli loves attention but is not good at sharing. She would be best in a one Pug home. If you have room in your heart for this little girl please contact us.
gallery Meet Earl. He is 6 years old and a real sweetie. This fellow has epilepsy that is under control with meds. This is a very inexpensive drug to handle seizures. Other than that he is a happy healthy not so little man. He was relinquished to a family during the recent fires but they could not keep him. This boy has been thru a lot and needs a forever home. Earl gets along well with other dogs and people. If you have room in your heart for this special guy please contact us. His foster parents are crazy about him!! He is a real love. /td>
gallery Meet Gertie. She is a 7 year old spayed girl who is very loving. Gertie enjoys being the rule of the roost. She will push the other Pugs out of the way to get the lovin' she is searching for. Gertie will do best with someone who will have a firm but loving hand with her. Since she has spent the first part of her life outside and slept in a crate in the garage she really enjoys the hands on loving home with her foster family. She does enjoy sleeping in her crate. Gertie is a lively girl who needs a quite environment and a lot of attention. She recently had a visit with the vet and got a clean bill of health.
gallery Meet Gumdrop, formerly known as Lucky. She is a sweet little 6 year old girl. Lucky is deaf and blind. She has learned her way around her foster home and is quite independent. Her new family will need to show her the way around and spend time touching and loving her. It has been recommended that she go to a home with no children as she needs special attention. She has captured the heart of everyone who has spent time with her. If you are that special, LUCKY family looking for a darling Pug look into Lucky.
gallery Meet Kobe. He is a charming 6 year old young man. Kobe has a neurological disorder that caused him to drag his hind feet a bit. He is otherwise healthy and not on any medications. He has been the same physically for years. He would best be placed in a mellow and loving home. He is fine with other dogs.
gallery Meet Olive and Pepper, they are one year old. These two little darlings are sweet as can be. They are potty trained and are well socialized with other dogs and people. They came to us with Demadex Mange. Olive and Pepper are cured and have most of their fur back. They have tons of energy and love to play. They are sisters and we hope they will be adopted together as they are bonded to each other since they were puppies. If you have the love to give to these wonderful loving girls please contact us.
