Description:
Cole is a lovely Strollin' Senior who has been with Pug Rescue for quite some time. He was an owner relinquishment by a family who could no longer care for him. When he came to Pug Rescue, his teeth were in terrible shape, and the vet had to pull all but two! He eats just fine though, and doesn't even need soft food. Really, not much will stop a Pug from eating. ;) Cole gets along well with his Pug foster sister, and he loves children. He is active, healthy, and full of energy. He sleeps at night on a soft pillow, but he is a noisy sleeper, with lots of snoring, grunts and groans - so if you are a light sleeper, perhaps Cole should sleep in another room! Cole is housebroken and accustomed to using a doggie door. Cole's foster mom says he is a great companion so if you're looking for a super friend to hang out with, Cole just might be your guy! Update 10/21/10 - We have received news that sweet little Cole has passed over the rainbow bridge. He was well loved by his family, and he will be very missed. Cole came to his family as a foster dog, and they fell so in love with him that they adopted him. Another lucky family that has known the love of a senior Pug. We are sorry for their loss, but so glad that Cole had a family to call his own in his last years. Rest easy, little man, you are loved.

New Beginning: Like many of our seniors, Cole was adopted by his foster mom! Lucky guy gets to stay in the place he's made his own. Adopting a senior dog is truly a gift, for both the dog and the human! Senior pugs are full of love and quiet acceptance. Congrats to Cole and his "official" forever family!
