Introducing Winston - age 3, neutered. We don’t have much history on him, but we do have information from the family he’s lived with the past few weeks.
This guy is a COOL dude. Anyone looking for a fun, energetic, playful, silly pug … he’s your guy! He gets along well with other dogs. In fact, if you have another young(ish) dog that likes to play, that is ideal. Similarly, he wouldn’t be a great fit for a home with an older dog that would be annoyed with his antics. Likewise, he’ll do best in a home where he isn’t consistently left alone for many hours.
Got younger kids that will love to play and get him wound up? Even better! He seems fine with cats (and the pet Roomba!). He’s terrific on the leash and we are currently working on crate training to fine tune the rules and make sure he’s fully potty trained and to address a bit of separation anxiety. He’s definitely improving as he’s feeling safer in his current home. His forever home will want to continue with this. No apartments or condos for this one please.
Silly alert: if you watch sports on TV and like to get loud, he’ll be right there with you cheering on your team. Four legged creatures on TV? Yep, he will make sure the whole house is aware of that as well. In summary, if you are a pug-lover, this guy is awesome! |
