Description: This is Peaches! Peaches comes to Pug Rescue from an unfortunate situation and her owner could no longer care for her. She has been very overfed and needs to lose some weight, and she is still getting accustomed to her foster home. Peaches is not used to having lots of space to move around in, and she is still most comfortable in small, tight spaces. Peaches is currently sleeping in the closet in her foster home - by choice. We are hoping with time she will become comfortable sleeping on the bed, where Pugs are supposed to be! Peaches has had her teeth cleaned and 19 of them were pulled because they were so rotten. She is currently eating only soft food, but once her mouth heals, she should be able to handle kibble with no problem. Peaches' foster mom is working diligently with Peaches to get her used to going out and about on walks, and has been working on teaching Peaches some basic obedience. Peaches is a smart girl and is learning fast. Peaches is very good on the leash and is potty trained, and is very talkative when it's mealtime. This girl LOVES her breakfast! Peaches gets along great with her foster pug sibling, and she loves to play with toys. She is an all around sweet little girl, who just needs a home that will help her be more comfortable in the world. Peaches will surely make a great companion, wouldn't you like to add this girl to your family? |
