Meet Romeo! Romeo comes to Pug Rescue from the shelter up in Lancaster. When we picked him up, he had a very bad Upper Respiratory Infection, was filthy, and his ears were infected. He's feeling much better now, and is ready to meet his new family! Romeo got his name because he is such a handsome boy, and he really is sweet with the ladies. He is gentle, calm, and easygoing, gets along with everyone he meets. He enjoys spending his evenings cuddled on the couch and loves to sleep in bed with his foster parents at night. Romeo was just recently neutered, so he still is in the habit of marking things, and has been wearing a belly band in his foster home while he learns appropriate potty manners. He does not mind the belly band at all, and stands quietly to have it put on. Might be a good idea to continue this in his new home until he learns to control that leg lifting a little better. He is learning quickly in his foster home, it will just take some consistency. We suspect he was left outside all his life and never really potty trained. Romeo is definitely a lover, full of Pug snuggles and kisses, and will be a wonderful addition to any family. Perhaps you might like to snuggle with this darling guy? |
