UPDATE 8/1/10 - Mowgli will be on medical hold until he sees the vet. We suspect he has kennel cough and will have to stay in foster care until that is cleared up and he can have his dental done. Mowgli has collected quite a wait list, so we are marking him as pending. No one has been chosen yet, so if you are on the wait list, don't panic! I just don't think we need any more on his list.
Meet handsome Mowgli! Mowgli comes to Pug Rescue from an owner who no longer wanted him. Mowgli is a big, handsome guy, sweet as can be! He gets along great with other dogs, and is quite submissive. Cuddly and friendly, he is absolutely adorable! He seems fine with the cats in his foster home, as well as with the human toddler who lives there. We are told he is potty trained, and so far he's had no accidents. He is crate trained, and knows how to sit, and he comes when his name is called. Mowgli does have terrible teeth, and will be scheduled for a dental as soon as possible - he has one tooth that is hanging by a thread, poor guy, it must be painful. He also will have his palate trimmed so he can breath easier. Mowgli will be available to meet potential families, but won't be able to go home until after he has had his surgeries. | New Beginning: Lucky Mowgli is on his way! He found a wonderful new home with another Pug and a kitty to play with! Oh, and a very nice Mom, too! Mowgli is a very lucky guy, found a wonderful home, and will be a very spoiled Pug. We wish him and his new family all the best. You are lucky to have found each other, glad we could help. |
