Meet Bear!


Bear somehow got separated from his home and was found afraid and disoriented wondering in Julian. We are so saddened to imagine this wonderful boy shivering in the cold mountains...alone at night. But that is done, Bear is safe in the hands of PRSDC and will not spend another lonely night.


Bear is a mature man in need of a loving frisky family. He has all the wisdom and majesty of a senior pug...while maintaining a playful fun loving energy. He get along beautifully with the large pack in his foster home. Perfect with cats, dogs, kids, teens, on leash and off. He can see and hear and is highly alert...always on the lookout for a playmate, a hug or a treat.
