We are so excited to introduce sweet and silly Grayson.
Grayson is a 7 or 8 years old, fawn, neutered male, a total gentleman with his potty habits, and loves toys and cuddles. He is excellent with all animals and in his foster home has made friends with dogs, large and small, cats, parrots, and chickens. He is gentle on leash and wonderful on car rides.
Grayson has some rear end weakness and arthritis that make him walk just a bit like a drunken sailor, but he does not mind a bit. He thinks he is young and strong and enjoys time outside, as well as games of tug with his favorite toys. He has also had a history of ear infections, so special attention to keeping his ears nice and clean is recommended. In the long run, Grayson will need management of pain and inflammation for sustained comfort and mobility, and regular ear cleaning and care.
The ideal family for Grayson would be loving and playful, but with no expections of a hiking partner. He will want potty walks near home, or nice jaunts in the yard, but needs a family that understands that Grayson is always going to be a bit gimpy. In new situations, Grayson may need a bit of time to get comfortable...but this happens quite quickly, and once he knows that you are his "people" he is quirky and hilarious. He is vocal about his excitement for dinner and playtime, and will also remind you when he needs lots more pets and cuddles.
