In Memory of Tom Milazzo
| Many of you have known beloved pug rescuer Tom Milazzo from our events – as the husband of 42 years to our own board member Jacki Milazzo, our former photographer, as our raffle man at the May Party, and as our former Webmaster. Tom was diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer very recently, and he passed away this past Friday in his home with his wife and family members by his side. Tom was passionate about Pug Rescue, as well as additional non-pug volunteer work, and he made sure that walking his and Jacki’s own pugs, Bonnie and Doug, was part of his daily routine. Tom is already very missed by his family and friends, and Pug Rescue wishes to honor him and share with all of you what a good soul he was. Many pugs were certainly waiting for him with snorts and wagging tails as he crossed over. Tom requested that in lieu of flowers at his passing, donations be made in his honor to Pug Rescue of San Diego County. The viewing will be Sunday, November 29 from 1pm – 4:30 and Tom’s burial will be on Monday November 30 at 2pm; El Camino Memorial Park, San Diego, 92121. |
